Yesterday, we arrived around five in the evening at our holiday house. The road seemed longer because we had to drive through mountains. The Tuscany we visited years ago was much flatter than this. My sister and her family arrived a couple of hours after us.

Today we had breakfast together. Shortly after, the kids jumped in the pool.

We visited Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, a lovely little town at a twenty minutes' drive from our holiday house. We also fired up the barbecue with some dry wood that gave our meat a lovely taste.
