I'm back from Zaventem where I handed in the last things to complete my time with this ex-customer and say farewell to the colleagues. It was busy on the roads, but it always is on the Brussels ring. The way back went smoother, that came as a surprise.

I don't fully realise that I'm on vacation right now. I am thinking about making a festive meal to make this start of the vacation be more real. It rains, that's not very festive. And it's a dark day. The rain also makes a lot of noise. The noise of the rain bothers me today, maybe more than usual. I don't feel the weight lifted off my shoulders yet. I really hope that this feeling will come soon.

We are looking at how we are going to drive to Tuscany in two weeks … via France and the péages, via the Gotthard tunnel or via another route. I don't have an opinion, so I tried to stay out of that conversation and be invisible. It's a tiring day.
