I have resigned from my position where I worked for almost six years as head of sales and marketing. I fear the emptiness that awaits me. I brainstormed with my family: what should I do to keep me going, what should I do with my time? They suggested physical exercise or a subscription at the local fitness club. They knew I would not listen to those suggestions. I'm not into sports, never been and never will be. I do enjoy my daily walks with my dog ... everything in moderation!
So I purchased a Museum Pass for a small amount that gives me access to +200 musea here in Belgium for one year. My first trip was to Oudenaarde, a city very nearby to where I live. A city with a lot of history. I took some images as I was on my way to the local museum on the central square.
This small painting only measures 30 by 30 centimeters. You should take some distance ... even close your eyes slightly or squint ... to see the shades and the little details I'm suggesting.
