For long I have been thinking on my next steps which included making a publication with my work. At the end of 2021, I decided I was going to do it! I started small and plan to publish more little booklets that cover a single theme. I chose a subject that I have been working on for a while, top views I found on Google Maps. Soms word je geconfronteerd met thema’s waar je zelf niet meteen voor zou kiezen. Zo overkwam mij het thema landschap in 2019 dankzij Jacky en Greet. Ik vond de beelden in vogelperspectief op Google Maps interessant. Deze afbeeldingen lieten me toe trouw te blijven aan mijn eigen beeldtaal. Parfois, on est confronté à des thèmes que nous ne choisissons pas nous mêmes. C'est ainsi que le thème paysage m'est arrivé en 2019 grâce à Jacky et Greet. J'ai trouvé les vues, vues d'en haut sur Google Maps très intéressantes. Ces images m'ont permis de rester fidèle à ma propre imagerie.
