We left again by foot towards 'Fundación Bancaja' where an exhibition of Sorolla's work was on display. A painter that I only just discovered through a colleague. Why did I not know this painter? At a time when Picasso was working with cubism, this painter retained his own realistic style ... he did not follow trends and was therefore not a modernist. That's probably why Sorolla wasn't mentioned in my art history classes. He did leave behind a very strong and gorgeous oeuvre and I'm happy I discovered it.

We had something to eat and then took the metro back home. In the evening we drove to the large shopping center and ate a delicious steak from the BBQ.
