In the late afternoon, we arrived at our hotel in Lyon. The hotel is located near a large football stadium. It's all very recently built here and very minimalist, from the outside anyway. Our hotel room is colorful. Kopster is the name of the hotel, and they made their own wallpaper. I'm impressed. The ride here was tough because we still had a very long way to go through the mountains. Via Genoa to Torino and via Fréjus tunnel to France.

We're back home! We arrived around a quarter to four. That is heavy, sitting in the car for 8 hours. Some junk food got us through.

We are happy to see the cats. Gizmo is very impatient to go for a walk, so we'll do that first. Later I would like to look at the photos I took from our holiday, and also make a selection of the images that I want to paint. If it doesn't happen today, that's okay too. ;)
