I went to a vernissage on a Saturday evening in Ostend a few weeks ago. The introduction was given by my friend. She is a very warm person, always positive and always great to meet again. She is also the partner of one of the two artists that were exhibiting that evening. Her speech was full of gesture and passion. Her words expressed respect while her arms and hands tried to give her words even more meaning. That evening, I felt it. I felt the love floating around. Love for the arts, love for the visitors, love for the artists and love for me. Love was all around us.

Two days prior to this evening, a children's book receives an award. The title is "a sea of love". There is an interview with the author who is actually an illustrator. The focus of the book is on the imagery and not on the words. The jury of the award concluded "not one word too many". I'm curious and intrigued about the book and I decide that I will read it soon.

The evening of the vernissage, my friend talks to me about a book I should buy for me and my daughter. A book that is for all ages. The title is "a sea of love".

There is no coincidence, some minds just think alike.
