I'm taking you with me on this trip through Ghent. We are a bit further into the city. Do you recognise this building?
I'm on the Korenmarkt where I'm looking at the old and renovated Postal Office. In 1909, this former post office formed a busy intersection of access roads to the city. The "postilions" and the first horse trams stopped here. This very decorated building with different architectural styles, has now been transformed into the 'De Post' shopping center.
Let's stay a little bit longer, it's so beautiful here. We are surrounded by old buildings with loads of history. This is perhaps the most beautiful part of Ghent?
