Sometimes I'm so eager to paint, it doesn't even matter which material I use. Reclaimed canvas in this case, but it probably has been reclaimed more than just once. I'm showing you details from 2 different paintings I made, it's work in progress.

I regret a bit I used this material, because it has a big impact on the appearance. On the other hand, it had an important impact of the process. It's a mixed feeling. ;)

I found the inspiration for these two in a previous work: 29/04/2015: The act of waiting has a purpose. When I sold that little artwork last month, of course I was sad I had to let it go. I think it has a real strong composition and nice contrasts, so I decided to work again with this image and take it further. It's my way of letting it go, I'm just keeping a part of it and give it life in another form.
